A leading manufacturer in the fire suppression industry partnered with Norgren and their local distributor to enhance the design of a system sub-assembly. Routine inspection of the system is recommended to ensure proper functionality and extend the service life of the unit. However, the sub-assembly had numerous pneumatic components and threaded connections, which posed challenges for maintenance and was prone to developing leaks over time. Through close collaboration with the customer, Norgren leveraged over 50 years of manifold expertise to develop a custom manifold solution. The Pneumadyne® series manifold consolidated over twenty threaded pneumatic connections, drastically reducing leak points, improving efficiency and overall system safety. The streamlined design also helped to free up critical space within the control panel, further contributing to a reduction of maintenance time and improving serviceability. This application demonstrates Norgren's ability to offer insight, technical excellence, and a true collaborative approach to develop Breakthrough Engineering solutions that help customers achieve new goals and overcome problems.
