A torque tube is a mechanical tube
member of a single or multi-axis electric
actuator system. It provides support and
high stiffness to systems that span a
longer distance than normally found in
gantry systems. It provides backlash-free,
torsionally stiff performance and is ideal
for electric actuators that require an
external support member.
